I was surprised this morning to find 5 shorebird species feeding in a fairly small re-charge basin, just n/o the traffic circle, at the confluence of Middle Rd. and Osborne & Horton Avenues, in Riverhead, Suffolk Co. There were single: Killdeer; Greater Yellowlegs; Lesser Yellowlegs; FOS Solitary Sandpiper and 18 Least Sandpiper. Cheers, Bob --
