Hello All, Did some scouting today in Watermill with Kevin Nolan for Saturdays Quogue to Watermill Count. Highlights on the ocean at Mecox were 4 Razorbills, all quite close,[ one was seen 5 yards from the sand], to the beach riding on a tranquil sea. Lots of N. Gannets about and both Loons. Red Throated's being much more numerous. Along David's Lane on the other side of the bay we found 7 White Crowned Sparrow and a cruising Grey Ghost,[N. Harrier]. To the east, we tried unsucessfully for Karen Rubenstein's Y.B. Chat at the Dune Road parking area. Good December Birding, Carl Starace
