During my first minute or so of birding in Brooklyn this morning I found a 2nd
cycle/winter Glaucous Gull at the very end of Bay Parkway, where it hits
Gravesend Bay next to Caeser's Bay Bazaar. It disappeared shortly afterwards,
and I didn't find anything else nearly as noteworthy during the next few hours
of birding the area.
There are 4,000-5,000 Gulls between the eastern end of Brighton Beach and the
northern section of Gravesend Bay right now, although many are not very close.

The Northern Shrike and at least 1 Red-necked Grebe continued at Floyd Bennett
Field as well, with the Grebe floating amidst a Red-breasted Merganser flock in
Jamaica Bay off of the NE corner of the base.
