Going to the end of Lido Boulevard, through the playground, to the pipes,
then looking left about 25 yards away at a sand spit on the near shore
exposed by low tide, a juvenile Brown Pelican landed on the spit and gave
us excellent looks. This was around 3:30 PM this afternoon.
Three Harlequin Duck were seen as well at the rocky point further south.
