I have been asked to provide this information, in the event that a Snowy Owl is sighted or reported from the Breezy Point / Jamaica Bay site on Long Island.
Should visible harassment or flushing of a Snowy Owl or other wildlife be witnessed (and documented) at Breezy Point or nearby, please immediately contact the Park Police at 718-338-3988 and the Floyd Bennett Field Ranger Station at 718-338-3799. Reports of violations to the Ranger Station will be immediately referred to the Park Police for handling. Park Police will be dispatched quickly to deal with offending persons appropriately.
