I did not post these sightings yesterday, but had some good birds while on the road yesterday. Highlights were:
Squaw Island: Bald Eagle - adult flying out over the river. Rich Marine: 2 Common Terns Buckhorn Island SP: Marsh Wren - East Overlook area. Seems awfully early to me. Mid River Marina: American Kestrel Common Raven - I had been hoping to run into this bird for a few weeks now. Initially it was on one of the electric towers next door, but then flew over to the marina and landed on a utility pole. It was nice to see it in flight, and pretty close when on the pole (about 75 yards away).
