Had a very noisy group of about 20 PINE SISKINS drop in for a visit at the
feeders this morning.

Out in the back yard, under a few apple trees, there is a place where short
grass, tall weedy grass and a raspberry/grape bramble at the edge of the woods
all come together. Feeding in this area was a mixed sparrow flock containing
about 30 birds, consisting of DARK-EYED JUNCOS, WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS,
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS, CHIPPING SPARROWS, SONG SPARROWS, and 2 LINCOLN'S
SPARROWS.
