Today from 9am to 2pm, I was able to get out and bird the Hudson River between
Newburgh and Cornwall in Orange County. All the normal stuff until about
12:30. After 12:30, I had the following:

4 - Common Loon in a group
10- Surf Scoter
1- Shearwater Species ( too far out to ID/rain) Painful!!!
2- Peregrine Falcon ( 1 appeared to be eating on the wing-something I did not
think was possible for them.)
1- Immature Bald Eagle
    Several Flocks of Brant flying

All birds seen from Cornwall. Also 1 Brant next to Torches Restaurant in
Newburgh, first seen yesterday.
