Folks:

I observed a 1st winter Black-headed Gull at Hook Pond in East Hampton.

It was located on the section of the golf course at the northern
shore of the eastern end of Hook Pond. It was sitting among
Ring-billed, Herring and Laughing Gulls. This location is visible
from Dunemere Lane (west of the bridge).
