Yesterday, work took me to Dutchess County and afforded me about 20
minutes to scan the waterfront in Beacon, Dutchess County. At about 3:30 PM, I
had 3 juvenile Iceland Gulls. All were between the rocks at the end of Beacon
Waterfront Park and the ramp for the Newburgh-Beacon Ferry. Basically the area
directly in front of the Beacon Train Station. There were a total of 350-400
gulls there at that time. Gull numbers are on the rise and the first good ones
have arrived.
Sorry for the late post. After the sighting, I went to my night job and
just got home to my computer.

Good Birding,
Curt McDermott
