Hi, Dick Belanger went for the male Tufted Duck this morning. He arrived at the harbor at 10am and found the male with a female directly across from Tutto Pazzo Restaurant. The pair were just 100 feet off the dock and he watched them for over a half hour before a passing boat caused them to fly off towards the Sound. He said the female's head was rich brown and there was just the hint of white by the base of bill. Wish now I had gone with him when he had called early this morning.
