Saw a Hermit Thrush on Warren St. in Cobble Hill this afternoon, fluttering like a House Sparrow pretending to be a hummingbird at some berries. It landed on a stoop to show off its cinnamon tail.
Near simultaneous reports of Common Raven in Prospect Park (from me) and Green-Wood (from Bobbi Manian) this morning suggest we might very well have a pair shuttling back and forth between Brooklyn's green hearts.
