At 8:50 AM, while glassing the flooded portion of a farm field along the north
side of Parker Rd., a flock of 33 COMMON REDPOLLS flew by and perched along a
nearby hedgerow. I viewed the flock for about 5 minutes and eventually had to
get on my way. They remained in the hedgerow when I left around 9:00 AM.

The birds were perched along the west side of the large farm field that is just
east of East Wind Drive in Wading River. I managed a few distant digiscope
images that show a portion of the flock.
