The lack of warblers,vireos,orioles,tangers and buntings the cause could be because of what happened in the gulf of Mexico. What happened was a shift of winds from south to heavy north winds with rain on 4-24 &4-25 .There was a huge fallout on padre island Texas. Thousands of birds were in the few trees & on the ground many were in poor shape. Thousands of birds washed up on the shore of the gulf,many more must have perished in the gulf.
