During a late afternoon (530-630) walk on the landfill I was able to see all
four target birds who appear to be breeding in the park: savannah (3+) and
grasshopper (2, one perched and singing) sparrow, bobolink (appear to be many);
eastern meadowlark (1 seen). Thanks are due to several people working with the
County (and the County) to eliminate mowing on the landfill except adjacent to
the methane posts.
