Nickerson Beach 19 June The immature ARCTIC TERN was sitting on the beach to the west when I arrived at 7:30 AM and was seen sporadically till 9:30 by a half dozen birders. There was a lot of movement, particularly when an OSPREY flew over.. ID made difficult separating the bird from a number of similar aged Common Terns interspersed with the group of birds. Most dispersed as low tide approached.
