My wife Eileen and I birded Cedar Beach, Southold today around noon. We
did not see the Whimbrels reported earlier by Lee Stocker, but we did see
four Glossy Ibisses in the marsh to the west. We have never before seen
that species at Cedar Beach. We also saw one Willet take off over the
marsh; and, on the beach itself, many Ruddy Turnstones.
