The Saturday morning bird walk had 18 birders and we enjoyed a rather birdie
day at NYBG.

The new Native Plant Garden at NYBG continues to be a superb birding area for
sparrows. Clay colored, Field, Song, Chipping, white throated, Fox and LARK
sparrow (another birder we met along the way found the Lark). The best point of
lookout is under the pavilion adjacent to the tall grasses behind the
waterfall.

Also spotted throughout the Garden:

Black throated blue-2
Magnolia-1
Northern waterthrush-1
