Subject: [nysbirds-l] Sora, Bryant Park (Manhattan), Oct. 11

Melissa Berube found this bird in the SE lawn border of Bryant Park and brought
me over to see it. I had never seen a Sora and was not able to confirm her ID,
but I tweeted the sighting and David Barrett and Matt L came by and were able
to see and ID it. I got some photos in the unfortunately poor light, and I've
put a selection of them at
http://edgaillard.smugmug.com/Bird-ID/Sora/32481521_4ZmmW6 and my eBird
checklist at http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S15381410 has some
more details.

Good birding,
Ed Gaillard
Manhattan
