Today, a Short-eared Owl was observed flying at very casual height above the tree canopy ~1 km south of the watch platform at Chestnut Ridge Hawkwatch--just outside Mount Kisco, Region 9. The owl was intensively harrassed by 2 Common Raven while 2 American Crow waited on the wing nearby and tracked the trio as they exited WSW at 9:20 EST.
