Mill Pond, Sayville: There were a total of 3 Eurasian Wigeons (1 drake, 2 hens) among roughly over 100 American Wigeons. The drake was nearly in full alternate plumage. Both hens were dabbling at the far north end of the pond.
Patchogue Lake: 1 drake Eurasian Wigeon, this one in full alternate plumage, favoring the south end of the lake.
