Hi Everyone, Ideally I would've tried for the Northern Shrike and other things at Jones Beach today, but sadly couldn't make the 10 minute trip there (don't ask why). As a consolation, I decided to walk up and down my street for about 45 minutes. Within a 2 block distance I saw a Fox Sparrow, Yellow Bellied Sapsucker, 2 Carolina Wrens, 2 White Throated Sparrows, 3 Titmice, a few goldfinches, flock of canada geese and ringed billed gulls flying overhead, a few robins, cardinals, mourning doves, blue jays, house and song sparrows, and starlings.
