Late this morning I went to Jones Beach WE2.  Found the Northern Shrike on
a tree directly south of the parking lot (just west of the large swath of
un-vegetated beach) without even trying. After I took one photo it was gone.

A few large flocks of Snowy Bunting were moving about the beach - and a few
owls were around including one that was a kill (rabbit?) which resulted in
a decent sized crowd by the time I left (~12:30)
