I stopped by the buffalo farm on Reeves Ave in Riverhead (Suffolk Co) about 2:30pm today. Ken Feustel had reported a Yellow-headed Blackbird here on the seventh, and I did see one in the large flock of cowbirds, etc. I do not have a photograph, but I got an excellent look at this bird - it was not an adult male but it showed a lot of yellow on the throat and breast - an immature male, maybe?
