I usually don’t post about the regular feeder birds, but yesterday and today we’ve had 10 Purple Finches at our feeders – 8 females and 2 males. Through the winter we’ve had a maximum of only 2. There were 2 House Finches as well, along with the “usual suspects” – juncos, chickadees, nuthatches, titmice, downies, and goldfinches. Palenville, NY, Greene County
