At croton point park this weekend 2 snipe within ten feet of the road, grey catbird, green winged teal, amer. wigeon, Merlin, kestrel, continuing RH woodpecker, and for me first of year osprey (perhaps will nest on light tower in train parking lot), double crested cormorant, and at Mayo's landing (croton) pair yellow rumped warbler and first phoebe -- finally, many thanks to the organizers and all who helped on Saturday w the major vine and invasive cutting project at croton point park
