A sea watch at RMSP Field 2 was held between 8:15AM and 9:00AM, with most the time being spent staring at an empty ocean. However, an obliging Wilson’s Storm Petrel came close to shore allowing prolonged views. Shortly thereafter, a close-in Great Shearwater appeared, giving good looks, only to disappear into the gloom. After that it was very quiet, with nothing of note being observed. There were a total of four Lesser Black-backed Gulls in the Field 2 and 5 parking lots just before the skies opened up.
