In the midst of a dense fog completely hiding the Croton and Hudson Rivers,
at least a dozen woodcock were peenting and twittering over the E side of
the landfill hill at dusk tonight at Croton Point County Park, Westchester
County. First peent at 7:20pm.

Three Wilson's Snipe were seen feeding on the once-wetlands/now ponded lawn
by the NW corner of the landfill, by the road circle.
