There is an apparently reliable (yet still unconfirmed) eBird report this evening (April 23) of a *Virginia Rail* in the Loch, which is the small stream in the North End of Central Park.
The last Virginia Rail known to visit Central Park, in September 2013, stayed overnight at least once. Tonight's moderate NW winds would suggest an overnight stay is possible. So you may want check the Loch tomorrow, at various times of day. The last one was not seen again, despite extensive searching, until the following evening.
