Hi All,

I was actually able to bird Mine Rd. from the north today. While there is
a sign at the beginning of the road that said it was closed due to
training, I ran into someone (presumably from the area) who told me that as
long as the gates are open, it’s fine to go down. However, he added that
the road is usually closed during the week. I was able to drive down for
about 3 miles before I hit a closed gate. Military police did pass me a
couple times but never stopped to tell me that I shouldn’t be there.
