At the I-84 Overlook HawkWatch in Orange County [2.5 miles east of Port Jervis in the eastbound lane] in 4 hours we had 3 Golden Eagle [1 adult, 2 juvenile], 7 Bald Eagle [4 adult, 3 juvenile of which one was a non-migrant], 1 Peregrine Falcon and 1 adult Red-shouldered Hawk. This spot can be good for Eagles in November on Northwest winds. If you go to this spot, please send me the hawks you saw on a HMANA form with weather data and I can enter it into Hawkcount.org.
