Was at the west end from 7:30-9:30 this morning - highlights were a pair of Purple Finches in the hedgerow by the Coast Guard (male singing) continuing Lark Sparrow, Tree Sparrows, Field Sparrow, several Boat Tailed Grackles, Cowbirds, decent views of Long Tailed Ducks, Horned Grebe. Also saw my FOS Osprey off Wantagh Parkway..
