To any curious birders who just got off work: the Ruff apparently took off and flew west around 2:30, high and far. A bit disappointing, but you never know what tomorrow will bring. Tonight's winds don't look favorable for landbird migration, so I will probably check Timber Point tomorrow morning to see if the bird returns. I'd advise birders in the area to keep an eye out.
