the Boathouse at 7:30 and 9:00am until around noon. 

Bob & I split the group today, so the list combines all sightings for the 
morning. Reservoir birds were seen before 8am. 

Canada Goose - pair with 3 goslings, another still sitting
Gadwall - pair NE Reservoir, pair Turtle Pond
Mallard - 10 + flyovers Reservoir
Bufflehead - 3 males & 3 females Reservoir
Double-crested Cormorant - at least 26 Reservoir
Great Egret - low flyover Reservoir
Black-crowned Night-Heron - adult NE Reservoir
Red-tailed Hawk - circling over the Point
Ring-billed Gull - Reservoir
Herring Gull - 6 Reservoir
Great Black-backed Gull - 6 Reservoir one of them chasing a Herring Gull with a 
small fish
Mourning Dove - many locations
Chimney Swift - around 20
Ruby-throated Hummingbird - Upper Lobe
Red-bellied Woodpecker - pair at Oven
Downy Woodpecker - male Armando's Place, male feeders
Northern Flicker - female lawn near Boathouse, Azalea Pond, elsewhere
Blue-headed Vireo - N. Reservoir, the Point, Riviera (Alexander Kalogerakis)
Warbling Vireo - NE Reservoir, Maintenance Meadow, King of Poland
Red-eyed Vireo - Maintenance Meadow
Blue Jay - many locations
Northern Rough-winged Swallow - at least 2 Reservoir
Barn Swallow - 10 Reservoir - nest on NE pumphouse exterior under construction
Black-capped Chickadee - Gill Overlook
Tufted Titmouse - heard in Ramble
White-breasted Nuthach the Gill (Diane)
House Wren - bridge near tennis courts Reservoir, Warbler Rock, heard west of 
Gill Overlook
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - the Point, 2 Humming Tombstone (Carine Mitchell)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - the Point, Bow Bridge, Humming Tombstone (Carine 
Mitchell), bathing in rivulet S of Azalea Pond
Veery - Gill (Bill Heck), east of Gill Overlook (Bill Heck)
Hermit Thrush - many various locations
Wood Thrush - Locust Grove, Evodia Field, east of Gill Overlook
American Robin - many locations with nests
Gray Catbird - many locations incl. 2 Evodia Field
Ovenbird - S. Reservoir, Gill (Alexander Kalogerakis)
Northern Waterthrush - Bow Bridge Island (Diana), The Gill, Upper Lobe
Blue-winged Warbler - Stone Arch, Upper Lobe
Black-and-white Warbler - 2 Oven (Diana), 2 on the Point, etc. 
Nashville Warbler - Maintenance Meadow
Cape May Warbler - female in willow south of Oven
Northern Parula - NW Reservoir, Oven (Carine Mitchell), 2 or 3 the Point, 
Riviera, Upper Lobe
Yellow Warbler - the Point (Bill Heck), Bow Bridge
Black-throated Blue Warbler - male Bow Bridge, heard north of Riviera
Palm Warbler - 2 or 3 on the Point (Mary & Emmett Logan), Bow Bridge
Prairie Warbler - the Point (Carine Mitchell), Upper Lobe willow (Diane)
Yelow-rumped Warbler - at least 3 Reservoir, 3 on the Point, 2 Bow Bridge
Black-throated Green Warbler - Maintenance Meadow, west of Weather Station 
Eastern Towhee - 4 Reservoir, 1 Locust Grove, male near Boathouse (Carine 
Mitchell), Gill Overlook
Song Sparrow - NE Reservoir, Bow Bridge
Swamp Sparrow - Azalea Pond (Emmet Logan), Swampy Pin Oak/Summer House Meadow 
(Frank Rutella) 
White-crowned Sparrow - adult Locust Grove
White-throated Sparrow - still quite a few around
Northern Cardinal - many locations
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - male singing in elm Point near Boathouse
Indigo Bunting - source of the Gill
Red-winged Blackbird - the Point, female at feeders
Orchard Oriole - male west of Gill Overlook, north Maintenance Meadow
Baltimore Oriole - male west of Gill Overlook
Brown-headed Cowbird - 2 males Armondo's Place, male Warbler Rock

Miriam Rakowski reported a Scarlet Tanager at Captain's Bench/Balancing Rock. 

Light winds out of the south and south-southeast predicted for tonight into 
Sunday morning.
