Yesterday afternoon I found a group of 4 red-necked phalaropes feeding together in the northeastern corner of the large impoundment at the Morgan Rd. DEC office at Northern Montezuma WMA. Pictures can be viewed in the ebird checklist posted below. Also notable was a group a 4 ravens that flew over the marsh. There is considerable shorebird habitat at this site, but unfortunately, most of it requires a bit a hike out on the dike parallel to the Seneca River to view.
