There was a large raft of ducks (mostly scaup and buffleheads) just east of mascot dock in the village of Patchogue. The location is next to Lombardi’s on the bay, just south of shore front dock. Birds often times feeding feet from the boardwalk but also spooked easily. They were there at 10:30 AM and again at 4:00 PM
