The Alley Pond Environmental Center (APEC) is hosting a Clean Water Symposium.  
This is in response to the NYC DEP’s plans to build a filtration plant with the 
ability to chlorinate Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO), impacting Alley Creek.

APEC is hosting a discussion of clean water concerns for the Alley Pond 
estuary. The hope is that the community gains a broader understanding of those 
issues and the means and methods to mitigate problems on the part of 
government, community, and individuals.
