Canada Goose - 12 (Reservoir, Turtle Pond & Lake)
Gadwall - 2 males (Deb - after 7pm)
Mallard - not many (Lake & Turtle Pond)
Bufflehead - 4 Reservoir
Ruddy Duck - 8 Reservoir
Mourning Dove - many at feeders, pair Shakespeare Garden
Chimney Swift - 5 over the Ramble
Spotted Sandpiper - Hernshead (David Barrett)
Herring Gull
Double-crested Cormorant - Turtle Pond & Reservoir
Great Egret - Turtle Pond
Black-crowned Night-Heron - 2 (Turtle Pond & Lake)
Yellow-crowned Night-Heron - mouth of Gill (Tom Ahlf)
Red-tailed Hawk - immature perched low at the Gill near Azalea Pond
Red-bellied Woodpecker - 2 pairs
Downy Woodpecker - several pairs
Northern Flicker - 1 pair in Ramble
Great Crested Flycatcher - SW Reservoir (Deb - after 6pm)
Blue-headed Vireo - 3
Blue Jay - 10 (still in small groups, not pairs)
Barn Swallow - 4 Reservoir
Tufted Titmouse 3 (pair +1)
White-breasted Nuthatch - Azalea Pond
House Wren - 2 (Shakespeare Garden & Upper Lobe)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 3
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 10
Veery - 2 in Ramble
Hermit Thrush - 8
Wood Thrush - singing in Pinetum
American Robin - residents
Gray Catbird - 6
Brown Thrasher - reported from Swampy Pin Oak
Cedar Waxwing - Upper Lobe (Marianne Sutton), flock reported at Tanner's Spring
House Finch - 10 feeders
American Goldfinch - many at feeders & Upper Lobe
Eastern Towhee - 6 (noisy early a.m., then quiet)
Chipping Sparrow - 1 at Feeders
Song Sparrow - 1 at the Point
Swamp Sparrow - 59th Pond mudflat (Deb - late)
White-throated Sparrow - 25 (many of these at Upper Lobe)
Orchard Oriole - 2 (male & female) in flowering Cherry Maintenance Field
Baltimore Oriole - 4 same tree as Orchard Orioles
Red-winged Blackbird - around a dozen (Turtle Pond, Oven, Swampy Pin Oak)
Brown-headed Cowbird - 3 (1 male, 2 females) Ramble
Common Grackle - 10 (Oven & Feeders)
Ovenbird - 3
Worm-eating Warbler - reported at Ladies' Pavilion
Northern Waterthrush - 4
Black-and-white Warbler - 10 (7 males, 3 females)
Common Yellowthroat - male on island Turtle Pond (7:30AM)
Northern Parula - Upper Lobe (early)
Yellow Warbler - 4 (2 males, 2 females)
Black-throated Blue Warbler - male Turtle Pond (7:30am)
Palm Warbler - 3 "Yellow" on the Point
Pine Warbler - 2 King of Poland (early)
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 20
Prairie Warbler - 3 (2 Upper Lobe, 1 on the Point)
Summer Tanager - male SW Reservoir (Deb - after 6pm)
Northern Cardinal - residents
