Highlights: 7 Species of Wood Warblers including Chestnut-sided Warbler (FOS) 
and Worm-eating Warbler.

Mallard - 16
Mourning Dove - 3
Chimney Swift - 10 (Bob - early)
Herring & Ring-billed Gulls - 28 (mostly Herring)
Great Black-backed Gull - 5
Double-crested Cormorant - 11
Downy Woodpecker - 4
Northern Flicker - 3
Warbling Vireo - 4 or 5
Blue Jay - 2 or 3
American Crow - calling from 5th Ave. building
Barn Swallow - 2 or 3 Reservoir
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 2 or 3
American Robin - around 40
Gray Catbird - many fewer than yesterday
Ovenbird - 2 (Upper Lobe & Tanner's Spring)
Worm-eating Warbler - west side of Mugger's Woods
Blue-winged Warbler - 2 (Warbler Rock & west side of Mugger's Woods)
Black-and-white Warbler - 4 or 5
American Redstart - 12 to 15
Yellow Warbler - 2 
Chestnut-sided Warbler - SE of Azalea Pond (first-of-season)
Northern Cardinal - 4

Butterflies: not a great day for butterflies, but a Variegated Fritillary on 
the lawn north of Turtle Pond was a nice surprise.
