December 16

Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)

     12/22: 3 WOOD DUCKS were seen at the Mays Point Dam. A COMMON RAVEN was 
seen at the Mucklands along Rt. 31. 7 TRUMPETER SWANS and a NORTHERN HARRIER 
were seen on Armitage Road.







Cayuga County

--------------




     12/20: A CACKLING GOOSE was seen at Fair Haven State Park. Another or 
possible the same one was seen farther south on Little Sodus Bay in Fair Haven.







Onondaga County

------------




     12/19: A CHIPPING SPARROW continues at a feeder in Manlius.

     12/20: A YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER was seen at a feeder in Manlius.

     12/22: A SNOWY OWL was at Hancock Airport. 2 FISH CROWS and a SNOW GOOSE 
were seen in Baldwinsville near the Seneca river. A PEREGRINE FALCON was seen 
in one of the State fair parking lots. A COMMON LOON was seen on Skaneateles 
lake near Spafford. A ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was seen from Rt. 31 near Cicero Center 
road.

     12/23: 2 SNOWY OWLS were reported at Hancock Airport.







Oswego county

------------




    12/18: 2 ICELAND GULLS, 2 COMMON LOONS and a LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL were 
all spotted from the bluff at Derby Hill.

     12/21: A SNOWY OWL was seen at Oswego Harbor.

     12/22: A WOOD DUCK was seen at Port Ontario on Lake Ontario.







Madison County

------------




     12/17: A NORTHERN SHRIKE wass at the intersection of Eden Hollow and Eaton 
brook Roads east of Erieville.

     12/21: An ICELAND GULL, an adult GLAUCOUS GULL and a LESSER BLACK-BACKED 
GULL were all seen at the Madison county Landfill south of Canastota.

     12/22: 2 ICELAND GULLS and a LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL were again seen at 
the Madison county Landfill.







Oneida County

------------




     12/16: A RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was again seen at Verona Beach State Park.
