The immature Red-headed Woodpecker found yesterday by John Todaro and
Marguerite Wolffsohn was still present this morning near Long Pond in Sag
Harbor.

To find the bird, park by the tennis courts near the Sag Harbor entrance to the
trail. The bird has been frequenting the patch of woods where the Sprig Tree
trail meets the Spur trail, about 3/4 mile in.

I’ll eBird later. Also along the trail was a Pine Warbler, a handful of
Bluebirds, and a Brown Creeper among others.
