Central Park, Manhattan, N.Y. City - Thursday, April 1st: An Iceland Gull was found & photo’d. (M.B. Kooper) on the reservoir, with many additional observers. At least one (early) Northern Rough-winged Swallow was seen at various times through the day, in late afternoon flying at The Pool (near W. 100-103rd Sts.). A (very early) N. Parula continued in the Ramble with dozens of observers on this day. Also still being seen were Pine & Palm Warblers, both Kinglet species, & various other typical early-spring migrants, most in low to modest numbers.
