Highlights: Wood Duck, Northern Parula, Nesting Birds. 

Canada Goose - family of five at the Upper Lobe
Wood Duck - 2 males Turtle Pond, one of these in eclipse plumage
Mallard - 5
Mourning Dove - 5 or 6
Chimney Swift - 2 or 3
Herring Gull - 5 flyovers
Black-crowned Night-Heron - 2 flyovers
Red-tailed Hawk - adult male inside east side of park at about 78th Street (Deb 
- early)
Barred Owl - continuing
Red-bellied Woodpecker - several including a male at the nest at the Top of the 
Oven
Downy Woodpecker - 2 pairs
Northern Flicker - 2 (Ramble & Locust Grove)
Great Crested Flycatcher - Tupelo Field
Eastern Kingbird - 3 (adult feeding young in nest at Turtle Pond, pair Oak 
Bridge)
Warbling Vireo - 2 or 3 pairs
Blue Jay - adult feeding juvenile at Top of Oven
Barn Swallow - 4 low over Great Lawn and Turtle Pond
Black-capped Chickadee - 1 in Ramble
Carolina Wren - singing in Shakespeare Garden
American Robin - adults, juveniles, and active nests
Gray Catbird - 5 or 6
White-throated Sparrow - 2 or 3 in Mugger's Woods
Baltimore Oriole - pair at nest Maintenance Field
Red-winged Blackbird - 5 Turtle Pond
Common Grackle - 5-10
Northern Parula - singing male at the Gill (Bob - early)
Northern Cardinal - 8 including female on nest
