On Saturday morning, the spoonbill was seen by myself and others at the Cold
Spring Harbor town dock. We observed it flying out, heading north toward Long
Island Sound.

At 3:15pm, a spoonbill was discovered in New Canaan, CT. It looks to me like
the same bird. https://ebird.org/alert/summary?sid=SN35614

Hi everyone,

I didn't see any report of the spoonbill in Nassau or Suffolk county yesterday.
Please, let us know if it is seen today, now that the Olympics is over. LOL
