Apologies for the delay in reporting here, but I found an adult male Western Tanager in Prospect Park this morning. (I hesitated to report it here until I or someone was able to get better documentation. Thankfully, Josh Malbin and Eleanor Ray have since relocated it and got photos, and Eleanor's photo leaves no doubt.) The bird has apparently been staying fairly consistently in the tulip trees above the path just north of the Maryland Monument, here:
