I'd like the opinion of Cormorants fans. There is a breeding colony on pilings in Manhasset Bay. Most do not have orange lores and have a dark upper bill. I have lots of photos here https://ebird.org/checklist/S115526236 DC who just feed in muck? Subspecies? -- Jennifer Wilson-Pines
