A single Forster’s Tern was present again at and around the floating-docks near
the western terminus of Dyckman Street, in northern Manhattan (in N.Y. City) on
Tuesday Aug. 9th; thanks to D. Hannay, D. Karlson, prior finder-of-the-tern M.
Waldron for individual reports, and to all who later also gave reports of this
uncommon-in-county bird. Again there were also numerous Ring-billed Gulls in
the same area, and a few of Herring & Great Black-backed Gulls. The tern was
present into later-in-day. More reports, on the next fresh-migrations.

good birding to all,

Tom Fiore
