Not sure why eBird considered this usual, it’s a first for me and I’ve been birding Bryant Park for over 20 years - so I’ll post here - I sighted a beautiful Cape May Warbler on the southeast corner of the Public Library/Bryant Park above from 5th Avenue mid-afternoon Wednesday. It appeared to be hanging near a pair of Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers - perhaps attracted to the oozing sap they were producing or the insects attracted to that sap.
