Brewer's Blackbird (Euphagus cyanocephalus) (1)
- Reported Jun 03, 2023 07:20 by michael walter
- Dune Rd. Suffolk, NY, Suffolk, New York

- Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S140352969
- Comments: "Female. Matched exactly the picture in Sibley's. Bird was in
NE corner of Dockers dirt parking lot about 3' from the shrubbery foraging
on the ground at 7:30am. I quickly ruled out Catbird [no red undertake],
Grackle [color and size], female Redwing [ no streaking], and all the
cowbirds. I don't take pictures on the theory if you wanted to see a bird,
get off the couch, turn off the TV and go outside.
I have previously IDed this bird in California.. Fifty-six years birding
experience confirms this bird in my opinion."
