While passerines were scarce this afternoon at WE2, the sandbar in the WE boat basin had a good variety of shorebirds, including a single Am. Golden Plover (scarce this fall at WE2), four Red Knot, and two Long- billed Dowitchers among the numerous Black-bellied Plovers, Dunlin, Am. Oystercatcher, and Sanderling. Also present on the bar were four Royal Terns.
